Longshot I know, but does anyone have a standard backbox for a mk2. Doesn't matter if its a bit knackered. Need it so i can take the stainless one off for the new car.

Yeah 'ave got one, still on my car mind, however I could let you have it for a bargain price of around £230, just enough for a Borla one from Moss! to replace it Laughing Laughing

But seriously, there's one on Ebay with a buy it now of £25 Rolling Eyes maybe your only option unless someone still has an old one lying round the back of their garage.

Happy hunting Smile Smile

Have you got your new one yet, haven't seen and pictures yet.........

Eventually got a test drive yesterday and it drives lovely. Big difference with the VVT engine, and the heated leather is nice too. Drove with the top down and the salesman was impressed unlike the chavs at the bus stop!!!!
Pick it up next Saturday. Canny wait.

Dave,

There's a guy on the National OC site just put on a Mk2 system, from the cat back apparently, though I'm not sure how the Mk2 system is made up.

Doesn't say where he's based, you'll need to ask.

Hope this helps Smile

I don't know if the mk1 exhaust will fit, but if it does, you can have my old one, it's only taking up room.

Cheers for the offer, Sam. Will post up to let the boffins tell me if it will fit or not.

Mk1 definitely won't fit. Sad

BUT, I have my old back box in the garage which you can have for the princely sum of nothing. PM me if interested........
